Adam Luna

Director of External Affairs

As Director of External Affairs, Adam is working to enhance the organization's communications capacity, develop strategic and message plans as a part of the Center's various initiative teams and build key partnerships with allies.

Before coming to the Center, Adam served as the Director of Field Strategy, and Senior Policy Analyst with the Campaign for America's Future where he led national issue campaigns on policies affecting the lives of low and moderate income families.

Adam was an early leader in the successful fight to protect Social Security from privatization and has a special interest in the major issues that shape the ideological direction of our country.  Utilizing his expertise in communications, policy development, online organizing, and national grassroots mobilization, Adam's work has been featured in hundreds of news stories and has engaged many thousands of activists, opinion makers and elected officials nationwide.

Adam also co-directed the 2030 Center, a public policy organization focused on younger Americans just entering the workforce, and served as a legislative aide to Representative Bob Filner (D-CA).
