President Returns To His Roots With National Service Act

Deepak Bhargava, Executive Director of the Center for Community Change, makes a guest appearance on National Public Radio (NPR) to talk about the impact of President Obama's National Service Act.

President Obama signed a $5.7 billion bill last week aimed at strengthening community service throughout the country. The National Service Act calls for Americans to give back to their communities through volunteerism. Deepak Bhargava, of the Center for Community Change, explains the potential impact of the legislation.
