Movement Building

Movement Building teams are volunteer-driven groups who work towards building progressive networks at both the local and state levels. In general, teams focus on impacting issues of economic justice in the state, though each team addresses this larger goal through specific issues that are dependent on local context.

People who are new to formal organizing make up an enormous portion of the Movement Building teams. They attend trainings, hold events, and interact with organizers around the state to build tools which allow them to have a significant impact on their local communities.
