June 22:    Careers in Organizing


This session will highlight the diversity of approaches used in organizing for social and economic change.  Learn more about organizing career paths and the wide range of organizations that utilize community organizing as a key strategy for achieving their goals.

July 6:   Electoral Politics and Organizing


Organizing voters to use the power of the ballot box can change the political landscape in this country. Learn about the work of three dynamic organizations to increase voter participation and ensure that every vote counts. These remarkable organizations are working to build progressive electoral infrastructure at the local, state and national levels.

July 23:   Nuts and Bolts of Organizing


This training session will provide opportunities to reflect on what you've been learning, and advance deeper understanding of organizing tools and strategies.

August 3:   Organizing for Policy Change


Community organizing, policy analysis, and lobbying are all key strategies for making progressive policy change happen. This session will explore the ways that these activities support each other and are coordinated in campaigns to move progressive public policies.
