Generation Change

The Plan and the Program

Generation Change seeks to recruit, train and support community organizers and emerging grassroots nonprofit professionals through large-scale internships, fellowships, and advanced leadership support for those currently working in the field.   Generation Change also promotes the nonprofit and social change sector, enhancing its visibility, developing new pipelines for entering and moving within the sector, and networking organizers to advance their own careers and the field.

Internship Program

Exceptional individuals interested in exploring social justice careers are selected for a 10 week summer internship program in grassroots community organizations around the country. Generally, these internships are for individuals with limited field experience.

Generation Change Advanced Leadership Support

We believe it is important to provide on-going training and support to the men and women who have dedicated themselves to improving the lives of others.  Generation Change has piloted a number of programs to advance leadership, commitment, and networking among current staff who show great promise as future leaders of community-based organizations and social justice movements.  Learn more. >>
