The Center for Community Change is seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide general support to the Managing Director and perform a variety of administrative tasks.

Principal Responsibilities: 

  • Provides administrative support to the Managing Director including filing, copying, faxing and mailings.
  • Coordinates and schedules meetings. Prepares materials for meetings.
  • Coordinates special events and office activities.
  • Schedules conference rooms and arranges conference calls.
  • Makes travel and lodging arrangements.
  • Processes requests for expense reimbursements and prepares check requests.
  • Serves as a liaison between all units of CCC.
  • Attends staff meetings. Records and disseminates minutes of meetings when requested.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  •  Excellent organizational skills and demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to perform detail oriented work with accuracy/timeliness.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Proficiency with a variety of office equipment.
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency using Microsoft Office. Proficiency in Raiser's Edge a plus.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. 
  • Experience in meeting and event planning.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Commitment to social justice and social change.

This position reports to: Managing Director
