How Does Race Factor In The National Discourse On Immigration?

Posted by: dennis . Monday, Mar 16, 2009

Dial in to ARC's Compact for Racial Justice Forum tomorrow as organizers and leaders in the struggle for just immigration reform discuss the intersections of race and immigration. Marissa Graciosa, Director of the Fair Immigration Reform Movement of CCC, will be featured as one of the panelists.

On Tuesday, March 17 at 4 PM EST, the Applied Research Center (ARC) will be hosting a public call on race and immigration as part of their bi-weekly Compact for Racial Justice Phone Forums.

Featured panelists include executive director of ARC and Colorlines publisher Rinku Sen (who recently authored The Accidental American, which explores immigration in the context of globalization), Eric Ward, National Field Director of the Center for New Community, and our very own Marissa Graciosa, Director of the Fair Immigration Reform Movement here at CCC.

Join the call as these panelists discuss first steps towards a just immigration policy.  You must RSVP before the call here.
